My Work as a Gameplay Programmer on an Unnanounced Title at Ubisoft Reflections

April 2020 - March 2022

As this project is still under NDA I cannot discuss specifics about what I have done, however my responsibilities include:

  • Creating new Gameplay systems in C++
  • Speaking to designers about what we need out of the gameplay features
  • Improving and managing debugging tools for these systems
  • Maintaining existing code and bugfixing
  • Investigating and understanding existing code so as to properly plan out work
  • Communicating with leads and production about tasks, time estimates and risks
  • Discussing existing work and sharing knowledge to support co-workers
